2012 Capital University Junior Winds

Wind Band Invitational 2012- The 11^th annual Capital University Wind Band Invitational and New Music Reading Clinic took place on November 16 & 17, 2012.  This two-day event features the best new concert band music performed by live bands.  Our first guest performance this year was by the Capital University Junior Winds under the direction of James Dowdy.  Comprised of students in grades 7-9, this 72 member ensemble has students representing 38 schools throughout central Ohio.  Emphasizing the performance of both new and standard band literature, Capital Junior Winds rehearses weekly and performs three concerts per season. 

This workshop features the program performed by the Capital University Junior Winds.
