Wind Band Invitational 2012- The 11th annual Capital University Wind Band Invitational and New Music Reading Clinic took place on November 16 & 17, 2012. This two-day event features the best new concert band music performed by live bands. Our second guest performance this year was by the Franklin Heights High School Symphonic Band under the direction of Mark Fox. One of four high schools in the South-Western City Schools, Franklin Heights is located in an urban part of southwest Columbus. The band program consists of the Golden Falcon Marching Band, two concert bands, and two jazz ensembles. The Symphonic Band is auditioned and typically consists of 45 winds and percussion.
