Stanton's participated in the James Swearingen "Complete Band Director's Clinic" held every June at Capital University. The workshop features multiple reading sessions including a Concert Band Reading Session and a Jazz Reading Session. This year's Jazz reading session featured 12 jazz charts from various publishers. Ben Huntoon, the Stanton's Jazz Guy, directed the session for the directors in attendance on Friday morning of the week-long clinic.
