2013 New Jazz Ensemble Session
Held each June at Capital University, James Swearingen's Complete Band Director Workshop is a great way to get new teaching ideas, connect with colleagues, and explore new music. Stanton's holds a new jazz ensemble reading session each year featuring the best new music for jazz band from beginning to advanced levels, as well as the latest jazz education materials. This year's jazz session was conducted by Ken Tilger from our band department and featured a great reading band made up of participating band directors.
